Description
V1P Lanarkshire is a specialist peer support and psychology service for veterans residing in Lanarkshire. The services we provide are:
Veteran peer support: peer support workers are all veterans themselves and provide support around a number of social and welfare issues including finance, employment, health, social isolation, housing, and well-being.
Specialist Psychology: trained and accredited clinicians to provide evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention.
Access Point: a community space to meet other veterans for information, commaraderie, support, signposting, banter & a brew.
Access Point Programme: monthly guest slots at weekly access points on a range of issues.
Family members/carers’/partners: information pack and one-off support sessions for family members/carers/partners.
Delivery Partners in support
Pain Association Scotland, Lanarkshire Carers Association, Veterans UK, and many more local partners.
