Mission Motorsport is the Forces’ Motorsport Charity and is the Forces’ competent authority for motorsport as a recovery activity. The Charity aids in the recovery and rehabilitation of those affected by military service including spouses, families and carers, by providing opportunities to race, retrain and recover through motorsport, the motor industry and beyond. Through account managers and dedicated career managers, the Charity has helped over 2000 veterans find work through various outreach and employer engagement programs.
Mission Motorsport’ s motto is “Race Retrain Recover” and it is a Royal Foundation (the charitable trust of the Prince and Princess of Wales) and Endeavour Fund supported initiative. A Service Charity and a member of the Confederation of Service Charities, the Charity has an award winning collaborative model of working with government and the other service charities and is funded by the Government’s Positive Pathways program, The Soldiers’ Charity (the Army Benevolent Fund), the Forces’ Trust and the Greenwich Hospital as well as by industry partners and independent fundraising.
