Morecambe FC Community Foundation are proud to have made our pledge and signed the Armed Forces Covenant to demonstrate our commitment to the Veterans Community. We are also a key member of the district’s Armed Forces Covenant Partnership.

We support our Veterans community by providing a regular monthly coffee morning ( last Wednesday of every month) at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium in Morecambe. Drop in for a brew, a butty and a chat with like-minded people.

We also have a number of partners attending who can offer advice on benefits, housing, mental health , addiction, financial management, employment and training, all done in an informal, safe space.

Our dedicated Veterans Project Officer works with local community partners to organise and deliver range of activities open to all our veterans, blue light services, and their families. These include sport acitivites, Digital IT support, social evenings, walk and talk, curry night, with more to be planned.
