Description

We are a Not For Profit Organisation supported by local goverment and military charities/organisations for Veteran Adventure training & woodland activities Co founded by Matthew Rugman and James ‘Thomo’ Thompson governed by a non exec committee from varying supporting partners . We combine service elements of physical challenges at differing levels to improve Physical and mental wellbeing by bringing together veterans and serving personnel for commeraderie mentoring and goal setting activities ie MTB, hill walks/hiking, paddle boarding kayaking map reading survival techniques and other adventurous activities & events.
We refer to other welfare and mental health organisations such as RBL Ssafa VOS speeding up the process of assistance for those who serve and have served our great nation.
The woodland training would include coppacing clearing woodland for re growth wild life encouragement rural fencing charcoal burning etc Are a few of the things on offer .
Working with existing groups such Slindon National Trust, W Sussex CC Arundel Town Council Arundel RBL Veterans Outreach Support Havant Borough Council Havant Veterans Support Hub/Drop in Havant & Chichester Serving Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club and other members of ASDIC.
A non exec committee has been established from the above along side local business’s Governance service providers and supporting partners to drive the project forward.
