Description
Caerphilly Veterans Support Hub was established to provide veterans with the confidence, skills to access the help they need, where and when they need it. It is a place where veterans feel like they ‘belong’. It reinforces people’s self-reliance, esteem, and self-empowerment. It combats social isolation and loneliness, where veterans can also gain peer to peer support. Support organisations such as Cornerstone homeless charity, DWP, Citizen Advice and Woodys Lodge attend the hub regularly.
