Associate Directory
All Delivery Partners who support Drop-Ins with services may join ASDIC as Associates. Like Members, they are listed in their own Directory (below) and have a short page to describe details of their organisation, points of contact and what support they offer, with links to their website and any other relevant material. This helps them to work with each other cooperatively and shows Drop-Ins what other supporting services may be available.
Delivery Partners who would like to join ASDIC as Associates should read the ASDIC Framework Document and download the Associate Application which includes all the information for the website. This should be completed and sent to the ASDIC office.

Description
Fares4Free is a charity that asks taxi drivers and companies to give free fares to help veterans and their families to access essential services and combat social isolation. Sometimes the first step to beating loneliness and isolation is a friendly face and a lift. The service is much more than simply transportation with the core F4F team however, and most of F4F associate drivers are specially trained to understand and support the needs of vulnerable veterans.
F4F acts informally as a central hub to coordinate support between veteran support organisations and to cross refer veterans to the organisations best placed to support them. In addition to ASDIC Drop-Ins, we work with organisations like the Veterans Community at the Kings Centre, a Drop-In cafe at Motherwell (VC@KC), Falkirk and Grangemouth Veterans Drop-In and many Breakfast Clubs. So if you would like us to support your Drop-In in some way, get in touch and we will see what we can do.

Description
Formerly UK Veterans Hearing Help, the UK Veterans Hearing Foundation is now a registered charity helping Veterans who have hearing loss as a result of military service. Our outreach has grown considerably. Using independent reputable Audiologists throughout the UK we give each individual a better way of life by providing top of the range hearing devices at no cost.
Any surplus is invested in mental health care for Veterans through partners like Combat Stress and Woody’s Lodge. We support those with tinnitus with mindfulness training, alongside the Hearing Coach, and work with charities caring for those with PTSD. This helps to reduce the additional pressure from hearing loss and the associated mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, loneliness and social avoidance.
We attend Drop-Ins and offer advice on hearing loss throughout the UK, giving presentations and providing literature and contact information. Our aim is to help Veterans overcome their hearing difficulties so they can excel in their new career and forge ahead with civilian life
